Anand Gopalan - Partner

Anand Gopalan is a seasoned global finance and corporate development leader, offering extensive guidance to companies at different growth stages. He has a successful track record in executing strategic finance, restructuring, and business development transactions worldwide, particularly in innovative sectors like sustainability, mobility, financial technology, and consumer technology.

As the former head of Corporate Development and Finance at Booster, a Series-D energy and mobility company, Anand managed equity and debt fundraising while overseeing cross-functional strategic projects. His leadership contributed to Booster's international expansion, securing investments and establishing joint ventures with strategic partners worldwide.

Prior to joining Delta West, Anand held the position of Vice President at Financial Technology Partners, where he provided strategic advice to FinTech companies on fundraising, mergers and acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he worked in the Financial Institutions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, handling M&A, Equity and Debt Fundraising, and IPOs across various sectors, including FinTech, Asset Leasing (aviation, trucking, shipping), and Asset Management. Anand commenced his professional journey as an options trader and later transitioned to leading electronic and high-frequency trading desks.

Anand earned a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University, where he was the recipient of both the Freeman Asian Scholarship and the Davis United World College Scholarship. He also received his MBA at NYU Stern School of Business.
